It doesn’t matter if you’re currently in or out of work or what qualifications and skills you currently have – there are lots of ways we can help.
Our specialist Employability Coaches can provide one to one support, or we may point you in the direction of a trusted service or partner.

Our team can:
- Support you to find local job opportunities, apprenticeships, training courses, and volunteering roles
- Help with writing CVs, cover letters, and job applications
- Help with Interview preparation and practice sessions
- Give you guidance on accessing funding for employment-related costs, including training, childcare, travel, and work or interview clothing
- Offer advice and support for starting your own business
- Signpost to activities and services that can support and improve your mental wellbeing
Current opportunities through Social Value
We’re committed to creating real opportunities for our customers through our partners and supply chain as part of providing Social Value.
We regularly offer short work placements (1–2 weeks) with our contractors, giving you valuable experience and insight into different industries.

Requirements: You must be 16 or older and have a Level 1 Health & Safety in Construction certificate or a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.

Fully Remote Web Development Placement Opportunity
Are you interested in IT, coding and web development and keen to find out what it’s like to work in a professional web development agency?
We are offering a one-week work experience placement where you will have the opportunity to shadow a pod of experienced developers and gain an insight into the day-to-day life of a web development team.
During the week, you will have the chance to:
- Shadow professional developers and see how a web development agency works.
- Learn about the different stages involved in creating and maintaining websites.
- See how developers turn ideas and requirements into practical digital solutions.
- Gain an insight into working as part of a collaborative development team.
- Explore the tools, technologies and processes used by developers in a real-world environment.
- Build a small, functional website, giving you the opportunity to put your skills into practice.
- Ask questions and learn from developers about their experience, career paths and the skills needed to work in the industry.
Candidates need to be aged 16yrs+ and have a strong interest in IT.
