Great Places’ approach to pay
Great Places is an accredited Living Wage Employer. In 2024/25 we paid the Real Living Wage to all our colleagues, and paid our Apprentices above the National Minimum Apprentice rates.

As at March 2025:
- UK gender pay gap (ONS 2024): 10%
- We employ 1039 people, 49% are female and 51% are male.
- Great Places Housing Group’s gender pay gap (mean is) -0.85% (2023/24 – 2.6%)
Ethnicity pay gap
- Median: 17% (2022/23 18.7%)
- Mean: 17.05% (2023/24 18.3%)
- We employ 1039 people, 78% identify as white, 14% as multicultural and 8% did not declare their ethnicity.
