Our Customer Committee plays an important role in making sure customers’ views help shape the services we provide at Great Places.
Made up mainly of customers, the committee works independently to review performance, look at areas where improvements are needed and provide feedback on plans and decisions that affect customers.
Over the past year, members have focused on some of the issues that matter most to customers, including repairs, complaints, community safety and customer satisfaction. They have also reviewed a number of key strategies and plans, helping to ensure the customer perspective is considered as services continue to develop. They have also spent time meeting colleagues, visiting neighbourhoods and learning more about how services operate behind the scenes. These experiences help members better understand the challenges customers face and make sure conversations remain grounded in real customer experiences.
In their latest update, two of our Committee members reflect on the group’s work during 2025/26, sharing some of the key areas they’ve focused on and explaining why customer involvement is so important. They also look ahead to the year ahead and the issues they’ll continue to focus on as they help ensure customer voices remain at the heart of everything Great Places does.
