Salford Homesearch is a website which advertises most of the housing association and Council homes available in Salford. Most homes are available through Choice Based Letting which means that you can bid for homes advertised. The eligible person with the highest priority will be offered the home when the advert ends. Before you can start bidding you will need to register for housing.
You can also look for properties ‘available now’ through the property search which means you don’t have to bid, you can contact the landlord directly to see if you can rent the property. These are available to you whether or not you have registered for housing.
If you are a customer of one of the Salford Homesearch landlords, including Great Places, you can also join House Exchange free of charge to look for someone to swap homes with.
Aged 55 or over?
Great Places has housing options available exclusively for residents aged 55 and over.
