Oak and Beech House both offer high-specification, fully furnished accommodation suitable for single occupants who are looking for temporary accommodation.
Located in a peaceful area of the hospital grounds, the accommodation provides 52 individual single bedrooms with shared kitchens, bathrooms and lounge facilities, all of which have undergone an extensive refurbishment programme in 2023. The accommodation is accessible by an individual fob, making access to both buildings secure and for private residents only.
The accommodation itself is reserved for doctors, nurses, students and other healthcare professionals who are employed at the Northern Care Alliance. As well as having the confidence of quality, you can also be assured that you will be sharing facilities with other like-minded NHS professionals during your stay.
We offer fully serviced accommodation, inclusive of all utilities including council tax, unlimited WIFI use, a weekly linen change and a 24 hour repair service.
Laundry facilities are also available in each block at an additional charge.
Both blocks of accommodation are managed by our Keyworker Coordinator who is present onsite on a part time basis and based in the Great Places office which is located on the ground floor of Oak House.
Car parking in available throughout the Hospital site, which is managed by
Northern Care Alliance.
The Royal Oldham Hospital is located close to Oldham town centre 8 miles north east of Manchester.
Oldham town centre is one mile away from the accommodation and offers a wide range of high street shops, pubs, restaurants and a cinema complex. The Bee Network tram service also operates from various stops in Oldham town centre providing easy accessibility to both Manchester City Centre and Rochdale.
Royton town centre is 1.1 miles away from the accommodation and also has lots to offer including supermarkets, local shops, pubs, restaurants and a market every Thursday.
Both Oldham and Royton are easily accessible on foot or by local bus with the main bus stops being on Rochdale Road (just outside the main entrance to the Hospital).
