Where we are looking to develop
We have created ward-level maps that Great Places’ growth appetite across thirty-four local authorities in the north of England. Each electoral district has been classified as a high, medium, or low priority following a weighted calculation that considers proximity to our existing stock of homes, local amenity, and public transport infrastructure. The classification also seeks to include national and regional government strategy and policy objectives for key economic growth areas
The peak clusters are around the Greater Manchester area, Yorkshire, Fylde Coast and parts of Lancashire.
