Weavers Court

Weavers Court is a sheltered housing block for over 55s in the small market town of Penistone, surrounded by fresh air and open countryside. It is close to all local amenities and transport services but situated in peaceful well stocked gardens with plenty of busy seating areas for when the weather is good. There are 30 spacious one-bedroom flats over two floors, with a lift to the upper floor. 8 of the flats have the addition of a small balcony. We have a twin bed ensuite guest room at a small charge for residents to book for family and friends to stay over. Two laundry rooms are available for residents use, each containing an industrial washing machine and dryer.

The communal areas have been refurbished to a high standard and are well used by the residents for various activities ranging from bingo to voluntary entertaining groups. We have craft afternoons, trips out and lunch groups all arranged by the resident social group and local volunteers.

We welcome people from the local area to join in or volunteer for our events. Penistone is a small town and is a very friendly place with a great feeling of community spirit.
