Our report structure
The Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing provides a consistent framework for reporting ESG performance across the sector. It also supports wider alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which call for action to end poverty, protect the planet and promote peace, prosperity and strong institutions.
This annual report is structured around three connected areas: social, environmental and governance. The sections should be read together: social outcomes are affected by the quality, affordability and sustainability of homes; environmental action must consider the impact on customers and communities; and governance provides the accountability, transparency and risk oversight needed to deliver our commitments.
Within each section, we explain the relevant theme, summarise progress during the reporting period, provide supporting evidence and identify areas for continued improvement. This approach is designed to make the report useful for a range of audiences, including customers, colleagues, investors, regulators, partners and community stakeholders.
While we continue to face many challenges, we remain committed to delivering for our customers and our communities and to deliver on our customer commitments every day.
We hope this report gives a clear picture of the progress we have made and our continued commitment to improving our ESG performance and reporting openly on it.
During 2026/27 we will continue to strengthen customer outcomes, improve environmental performance and further develop how we measure and report ESG impact.
