Great Places and SAFE Group deliver £10k Social Value boost for communities

At Great Places, we believe that every partnership should translate into a significant change in our communities, and our collaboration with SAFE Group is a great example of this shared ambition.
Through this contract, £10,000 of social value will directly support two vital Community Investment projects. House to Home will help new tenants in need access essential white goods, making those first steps into a new home more comfortable and secure. Meanwhile, Household Assistance will provide crucial food and fuel vouchers to general needs tenants facing financial hardship, offering timely support where it matters most.
But the partnership goes beyond funding. SAFE Group has pledged 40 hours of volunteering, strengthening local connections and providing practical support. This includes examining a faulty shutter and exploring improvements to signage at the Coop building, helping improve spaces used by community groups.
Eddie Parry, Contract Delivery Officer for the Assets department at Great Places, highlighted the strength of the collaboration:
