We have recently delivered two successful working from home courses, designed to support customers who are interested in exploring remote employment opportunities.
The sessions took place at our Oldham Office, with six customers attending the first session. A second session followed, with a further seven customers in attendance.
Each workshop ran for three hours and provided practical guidance. Customers were supported to build their confidence and understanding of what employers are looking for when recruiting for home working roles.
The sessions covered a range of key topics, including:
- How and where to find genuine work from home opportunities
- Ways to maximise job search results to identify employers across the UK offering homeworking roles
- What is different when applying for work from home jobs compared to office-based roles
- Tips and tricks to enhance applications and stand out to remote employers
- What to expect once a remote role has been secured, including managing expectations and working effectively from home
These workshops form part of our ongoing commitment to helping customers develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to access employment opportunities.
