Introducing Our Code of Conduct

At Great Places, how we work is just as important as what we do.

That’s why we’ve introduced Our Code of Conduct, which sets out the behaviours and standards expected of everyone who represents Great Places. It reflects our commitment to professionalism, accountability, respect and delivering great customer experiences.

The Code has been shaped by feedback from customers and colleagues, helping us understand what matters most to the people we serve. Through surveys, consultations and workshops, customers told us they want colleagues who listen, communicate clearly, treat people fairly, keep them informed, take responsibility when things go wrong and work with them to find solutions.

We’ve used that feedback to help shape our new Code of Conduct, ensuring it reflects the standards our customers expect from us every day.

What does the Code cover?

The Code is built around five key principles:

Together, these principles help guide how we make decisions, work with customers, support colleagues and represent Great Places.

Working alongside Service with Respect

The Code of Conduct sits alongside our Service with Respect approach, which sets out the standards of behaviour we expect from both customers and colleagues.

While Service with Respect helps create positive and respectful interactions, the Code of Conduct explains the behaviours and standards that customers can expect from everyone who represents Great Places.

Together, they reinforce our commitment to treating people fairly, listening to feedback, taking responsibility and delivering high-quality services.
