Great Places has teamed up with a leading beauty brand to help customers start their own business.
Employability Coach Stacey Fletcher ran a training session in Preston with Tatti Lashes, a leading UK brand, to teach a group on how to become a self-employed beauty technician.
The attendees were given some tips, tricks and advice on working within the industry around stock, pricing, insurance, managing workload by the trainer Lindsey. They were also given a branded lash kit.
Most of the attendees were unemployed although some were on zero hours contracts.
Following on from this, Stacey has received some very good feedback from participants, who can be supported by Stacey on a 1-2-1 to progress to the next stages of self-employment. We also have the opportunity for the participants to speak with a business advisor for an individual session.
