It was eyes down for a full house at Langdale Court as customers enjoyed an afternoon tea in the sunshine.
Neighbourhood Services Manager Adam Marsden organised the event at the Garstang scheme to get the customers together.
They enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea and a game of bingo, giving neighbours the opportunity to come together, make new friends and strengthen community connections.
Sharon, a customer, said: “I would just like to say a big thank you on behalf of myself and I think I speak for all my neighbours, for all your hard work in organising our afternoon tea party, what a pleasure to meet you and all your staff.
“It gave us all an opportunity to meet and speak to neighbours I haven’t even met before, which was lovely. Please pass on our gratitude and look forward to next year’s.”
Another customer, Carol, added: “The food was beautiful, and the help and information that was available that was given out by yourself and your lovely helpful staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and informative was really good! And loved the bingo! All in all Adam you brought it all together for us all! And once again thanks so much for a lovely time. You’re a star. ”
