INSIGHT – customer scrutiny group
Are you a Great Places customer who has some spare time, would you like to put it to good use and make a difference?
If so, you could be a valuable addition to our INSIGHT Customer Scrutiny Group.
What is the Customer Scrutiny Group?
For Great Places, customers are at the heart of everything we do so it’s important you are given the opportunity to scrutinise our performance to help continually improve the services we provide.
The purpose of this group is to ensure you and your fellow customers can influence the way Great Places operate as a landlord and hold us accountable for the decisions we make and actions we take.
Insight act as ‘critical friends’ of the business and meet regularly where members are invited to:
- Take a detailed look at how Great Places can improve its services
- Work with Great Places colleagues to collect 'evidence' about how our services currently work and speak with other customers about their experiences
- Use what has been learnt from these reviews to recommend changes that will improve our services in the future.

You will play your part in shaping new and existing services and can do this from your home or our offices
What skills do I need?
You don't need any previous experience — all we ask is that you are committed to the project. You’ll work as part of a group of other customers to suggest service improvements from a customer perspective.
We will provide any relevant training and cover any 'out of pocket' expenses, such as travel and carer costs.
