Salary | As a living wage employer we are committed to ensuring our colleagues receive a wage which is enough to live on. We are also a market payer within the housing sector; therefore we review and benchmark our salaries annually to ensure our pay ranges remain competitive.
Holidays | We offer a generous holiday entitlement of 26 days excluding bank holidays which increases after two years service.
Buying and selling holiday | We offer colleagues the opportunity to buy additional annual leave and if there is holiday allowance left over, you can sell your holidays back at the end of the year.
Healthcare cash plan (WPA) | This is a health care cash plan paid for by Great Places. It means you can be reimbursed for money spent on dentist treatment, eye tests, complimentary therapies and much more. Cover can be increased to include family members for an additional monthly premium.
Savings club | You can put aside money each month for 11 months to help you save for that special something.
Perkz | Our colleagues have instant access to discounts with high street retailers, big brands and boutique stores which make a real difference.
Lottery | Colleagues can enter into a monthly draw from as little as £1 a month where they are eligible to win one of three cash prizes of up to a £250.
Professional fees | The business pays the cost of one professional membership fee for each colleague.
Sharing Greatness | Our colleague incentive scheme where colleagues can earn £300 by helping the business achieve business targets.

Charity days and celebration events | Our social purpose is always at the centre of what we do, we are consistently looking for ways to give back to our communities, contribute to the charities that are important to our colleagues and customers, and recognise the diversity of all our people. Our colleagues can often be found donning their wellies to help clear a park in our communities; demonstrating their baking prowess for a charity coffee morning; or waving our rainbow flags at a local Pride event.
Long service awards | Due to the variety of job roles and career paths available within Great Places, we are often fortunate to retain talent within the company; we celebrate the careers of our great colleagues.
10 year club lunch | Our CEO and Executive Directors take colleagues to a celebratory lunch when they reach 10 years of service and at other five-year intervals after that.
Instant recognition scheme | We recognise our colleagues’ efforts by providing a range of cards to ensure individuals are personally thanked for their hard work and contribution.

To support this we run a range of conferences, away days and consultative roadshows, courses and qualifications.
