The last year has been a year like no other as the whole of the world has battled a pandemic. Although this has been a time of great sadness and uncertainty, it has also shown us so many good things such as the kindness from individuals, at times to complete strangers.
There have been many people across our communities who have volunteered their time and efforts and made a difference to people who have struggled with the impact of COVID-19 – such as being unable to collect food supplies and medicine or feeling isolated and alone – they have been true super heroes!
As an organisation we want to recognise our customers who have volunteered in this time of national emergency and have been a lifeline to those in need.
Throughout March we’re now asking customers to nominate and put forward those individuals from their community who have given their time and support to help others.
Closing dates for nominations is Wednesday 31st March 2021.
Throughout April we will then be making sure that these “˜Lockdown Legends’ are recognised for their acts of kindness and support and for the time they volunteered to support others.
