The Great Places Community Investment Team has risen to the challenge of the COVID pandemic and has been supporting customers with their employment needs.
Since the beginning of the Pandemic, Great Places has helped almost 400 households into work, training and volunteering which includes more than 80 people securing jobs.
The good work carries on with the team pleased to announce that six new placements for young people in distribution, repairs and roles supporting customers have been created as part of the DWP’s (Department for Work and Pensions) Kickstart programme. These roles will start in in January 2021.
During these difficult times it is fantastic to be able to create opportunities for young people and help them in this important time of their careers.
