Legal service providers interested in providing sector specific support for North West housing providers, can now tender to be part of Great Places Housing Group’s legal services framework.
The four-year framework will look to provide specialist legal advice to Great Places Housing Group. The framework is also available to other North West social housing providers and public bodies.
Anyone who wishes to supply legal services to Registered Social Housing Providers or Local Authorities can apply. Once accepted onto the framework, they can be called on by Great Places and any additional clients for a period of four years.
The framework is looking for solicitor firms to provide legal services across a range of Lots with differing requirements in the following areas:
Commenting on the launch of the framework Rick Clark, head of procurement at Great Places Housing Group, said:
“In a heavily regulated environment the need to ensure legal compliance and value for money is crucial. Specifically designed with the housing sector in mind the aim of this framework is to provide much-needed cost effective support across the whole range of legal services.”

Solicitor firms will need to complete a Supplier Questionnaire, Declarations Form, Pricing Schedule(s) and Quality Questions and confirm if their bids will include a social value pledge to be committed to throughout the duration of the framework.
The deadline for applications is expected to be midday on 23 December 2022.
