It was a right Royal do as the Welcome Cafe, in Longridge put on a bash as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebration.
The Welcome centre in Knutsford, managed by Great Places, was a smash hit as 200 people attended the celebrations and enjoyed food and ice cream on the day as well as bouncy castles, face painting and games and for local children to enjoy during their half term break.
This was followed by an afternoon tea on the following Tuesday for 30 older people.

The company gave £400 towards the cost of running the event and it was a fantastic occasion.
People were able to meet up and celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum in style. It was a fantastic way for everyone to pay tribute.
