Start Date Notification

Great Places and Emanuel Whittaker are pleased to confirm that the work to your home is due to begin.

If the start of works date is not suitable, please contact me to discuss as soon as possible; my mobile number and email address is listed below.

I will send you a gentle reminder 1 week before the works are due to start.

Before works start, you will need to prepare your home by:

  • Clearing the areas in which we will be working such as,empty all kitchen cupboards, remove toiletries and take down any wall hangings
  • Storing away all your ornaments and valuables in a safe place
  • Ensuring pre-paid gas & electric meters have credit and are accessible at all times

The general order of works to your property will be as follows:

  • Strip-out of existing items ready for renewal
  • Electrical, plumbing and plastering works
  • Installation of new items
  • Finishing works such as, tiling, decoration and flooring

Please note the above is only a guide and can be subject to change.

The work will take approximately 3 weeks to complete and we will use dust sheets to protect your floor coverings and furniture when necessary.

Please remember; do not let anyone into your home that you are unsure of. All Emanuel Whittaker employees carry identification badges, please ask to see them.

We have in place a range of measures in-line with government guidance to limit risk, and protect the health and wellbeing of customers and colleagues at all times. Please help us manage this by contacting me as soon as possible if at any point you or a member of your household display symptoms of Covid-19, are shielding, self-isolating or are awaiting Covid-19 test results.
