Virtual Jobs Fair

We ran our first ever virtual jobs fair in December, linking up customers with recruiters and experts from three key sectors; construction, health and social care as well as self employment. See the case study below.

Independence and Wellbeing Schemes

The employability coaches have been working closely and building relationships with the Independence and Wellbeing Schemes. This has led to some great outcomes and the partnership will continue to grow going forward.

Boss it programme Lancashire

The Lancashire team ran the first in-house enterprise programme for customers (“Boss It”) who want support into self employment and had 27 customers show interest, amazing. This resulted in 17 completed applications and 8 customers supported to set up their own enterprises.

More Positive Together

The More Positive Together Programme secured three years of European Social Funding from the DWP to expand the service in Lancashire. The new piece of work is called ‘Building Blocks 2.1’. This is focused on supporting people who move into work to sustain this, and also working with employers to help develop and maintain staff.
