It’s great news again for Great Places with another award win! The Voice & OD team won the ‘Excellence in Engagement’ award at the The North West Employee Engagement Group (NWEEG) awards.
The awards celebrate businesses across the North West of England engaging well with their staff, customers and stakeholders. Winners were presented with their awards at the Annual Conference and Awards Evening on Thursday 23 May.
The Group, founded in 2014, is the only employee engagement group that connects HR professionals and business leaders with engagement specialists and peers, who are faced with the similar challenges and obstacles of effectively engaging their people each day.
The purpose of the group is to elevate the North West of England as one of the best places to work. They do this through providing skills and real-life practical experience of how business leaders have successfully engaged with their teams and subsequently improved their business.
The ‘Excellence in Engagement’ award recognises a person or team who have applied excellent engagement methods to address a business challenge.
However the success didn’t stop there. Great Places also came second place in the Best of the North West Award, awarded to the organisations with the top three engagement scores based on a survey conducted by NWEEG.
Alison Dean, Executive Director of People, Culture and Business Improvement said:
"A fantastic day, great to see our engaged colleagues receive recognition for their commitment to making Great Places a fantastic place to work for everyone”
Alison also presented the Eureka Award - Finding That Hidden Treasure (sponsored by Great Places Housing Group). This award is for an individual who generally works ‘under the radar’, yet has a spark of brilliance about them.
Congratulations to all winners and nominees at the NWEEG awards!
