Keeping your data safe: our response to GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on May 25, and the changes in the law mean that organisations collecting data from people need to be clear about:

  • What personal data they process;
  • Why they process it;
  • Who they share it with;
  • What a customers’ rights are in relation to GDPR;
  • Who customers can contact if they are unhappy.

The information that Great Places collects from you is required to carry out our role as a social housing provider, and there will be occasions when we need to share this information with other organisations in order to deliver a full range of services to you. You can click here to view our Privacy Notice, which explains all of the information above, and details how you can contact us or the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) if you have any concerns or complaints. If you have any queries on how we handle and process your data, you can also email us at data.protection@greatplaces.org.uk

*Please be aware that Privacy Notices will be subject to change if Great Places Housing Group updates the way it processes customer data, but an up-to-date Privacy Notice will always be accessible via our website.
