Great Places Housing Group has been shortlisted in three categories in the 2018 Northern Housing Awards.
The awards promote and celebrate innovative affordable housing providers, projects and services in the North that are helping to create great communities where people love to live.
Great Places have been shortlisted in the following categories:
- Regeneration Scheme of the Year; this is for a three phase development in Sheffield, known as Project Maltravers;
- Tennant of the Year; this is for one of our tenants, Bev Norris, who lives in our scheme called, The Bridge, in Timperley;
- Supported/Sheltered Housing Scheme of the Year; this is for St Wilfrid's Place in Sheffield, which provides on-site support for 20 people.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on the evening of the 16th May.
Nick Gornall, Head of Development, at Great Places Housing Group, said: “We are delighted to have been short listed in three categories that are all very different and reflect what the business is about: Great Homes, Great Communities and Great People.
“The nominations are testament to the work and commitment of colleagues and customers alike. It would be great to win – but it is just as good to be shortlisted.”
Simon Robinson, Director of Housing Services, added: “It is a great achievement by everyone involved to be nominated - to be shortlisted is even better. Well done to all – fingers crossed for the night!”
