MMHA
Our full name is Manchester Methodist Housing Association, but we prefer to be known as MMHA, and we've been around since 1971. As well as all sorts of general-needs places to live, we lead the way when it comes to supported housing and have over 1,500 places for residents who need a bit extra from us - such as teenage parents and people with drug or alcohol problems.
We don't just sort out housing, though. We're at the heart of the communities we work in, providing services such as wardens in South Manchester, a multi-purpose drop-in centre in Bolton and a scheme to encourage great standards in private rented accommodation in Bury. We’re also involved in some of the North's most exciting development projects, such as New Islington, Manchester’s Millennium Community.
