Development and regeneration
Great Places is delivering an ambitious programme of regeneration and urban renewal that sets standards that others strive to achieve. We have partnering status with the Housing Corporation and have consistently received the North West’s largest allocation of Approved Development Programme money – a total of £46m in 2008 - affirming our position as a major regional player. In April 2008 we won a Gold Award for our 10-year regeneration of Northmoor, with Manchester City Council. Click on an area of the map below to see some of the work we have been doing in that area:
