CONTRACTOR'S CHARTER

 

Ashiana values its customers and is committed to providing a high quality repairs service. Our Contractor’s Charter highlights how we aim to achieve this high level of service. A copy of this charter can be obtained from any Ashiana office or by contacting your housing officer.

  • All our contractors will carry identification. The identification will include their photograph and their name. We ask all tenants not to let people into their home without checking their identification first.
  • Contractors will keep appointments where they have been made. If a contractor is unavoidably delayed they will make all efforts to contact you. They will explain that the appointment cannot be kept and make new appointment arrangements.
  • Contractors will leave your property clean and tidy at the end of each working day.
  • Contractors will treat your home and belongings with care and respect.
  • Contractors will not smoke or swear while in your home.
  • Contractors will be courteous at all times.
  • Contractors will not discriminate against you for any reason (including race, colour, gender, age, disability or sexuality).
  • We will monitor your satisfaction on at least 10% of all works carried out by our contractor.
  • We will deliver an exceptional service to all our tenants through our encouraged use of BME contractors.
