Ted Stott Chairman A qualified chartered accountant, Ted headed his own financial business from 1985 to his retirement. He became a board member in 1993 and chairman of MMHA in 1997. He has been chairman of Great Places since the group was founded in 2006.
Lars Hansen Deputy chair Lars has over 30 years’ experience in urban regeneration and housing, mainly with local authorities. He has been deputy chair at Great Places since its foundation in 2006 and was a founding board member of Ashiana Housing Association.
Andrew Beeput Andrew has significant experience as a housing professional. He is the manager of the Bond Board, a charity that operates in Bolton, Bury and Rochdale, helping homeless people to access private rented housing. He also sits on other boards of management.
Janet Clafton Janet is a civil servant, a manager at Job Centre Plus - a role with a community agenda to tackle unemployment. Janet is also currently the chair of Grange Court Residents' Association, and is involved in regeneration activity around employment.
Tina Cook

Tina is the director and founder of Ethical Management Consulting. She was chief executive of a social enterprise for seven years and previously a board member at Windmill Housing Association, which became part of Great Places in 2008. Her particular interest is in housing for older people.

Rev David Copley Retired Superintendant Methodist minister David was a child care officer in the 1960s and has been a board member of two registered social landlords since 1978. An expert in ethnic studies, he was chairman of former group member MMHA.
Kath Evans A training and development professional, Kath specialised in care sector workforce development. After several years of working with refugees and asylum seekers in a voluntary role, Kath is now undertaking further postgraduate studies in development management. She became a board member in 2008.
Malcolm Faulkner Malcolm has extensive experience of working in senior positions with both public and private bodies, including as chairman of Norweb and chair of the board and pro chancellor of the University of Central Lancashire. He is also a board member with a foundation hospital.
Christine Goulden Christine has been a board member and a tenant of Great Places for several years and has substantial experience in housing matters. She cares very deeply about housing and communities and is a member of the Oldham Housing Forum. 
Anne Harris Anne was a social worker, reaching assistant director level, before becoming an independent social work and management consultant. She was on the board and then chair of SELHAL Housing Association, becoming a board member of MMHA in 2003 then Great Places in 2006.
Roger Kirkwood Originally an architect, Roger was involved with capital contract management in the nuclear industry and later as a commercial director with BNFL. Roger came to Great Places via Cube Lifestyle Ltd. He is also a member of the group audit committee.
Stephen Porter Stephen is chief executive of Great Places Housing Group as well as a board member. An influential figure in housing and regeneration, under Stephen's leadership the group has grown and flourished to become one of the north west’s most successful housing associations.
Tony Snape Tony is a chartered surveyor who until a few years ago ran his own construction and development company. He is chairman of the Seashell Trust which educates and cares for those with complex physical, sensory and communication needs. He is a trustee of the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry and a mentor for the Prince's Trust.
