A QUARTET of talented women associated with Great Places Housing Group have been short listed in a prestigious national award scheme.
Two building apprentices, a development manager and a training manager have been singled out as finalists in the Women In Construction Awards.
Accolades will be presented at a glittering ceremony at Manchester’s Palace Hotel on Thursday 11th March.
Short listed are Katie Houghton and Sarah Hall in the apprentice of the year aged under 25 and over 25 categories, Helen Spencer for personal achievement on site and Keira Burns in the developing women in the industry section.
Katie and Sarah completed the STEP1 construction training scheme in Salford, run by Keira, and are now excelling in apprenticeships.
