Free your rubbish, start home composting today!

Great Places has joined the Recycle Now home composting campaign to encourage residents to reduce the amount of waste they put in their bin to be sent to landfill.  We are offering a free compost bin, delivered to your door, to kickstart your new waste regime! 

Why compost?

When things like leaves, grass cuttings, food scraps and even teabags are sent to landfill, they get squashed under other waste.  When they decompose without air they give off methane, a powerful greenhouse gas contributes to global warming.

Through composting at home, not only are you making something that will imporve the soil for your plants and vegetables, but you are also helping to reduce global warming!

Alternatively, keep an eye out for our Recycle Now Roadshow at local Great Places events.  Visit the stand, complete a form and we will ensure your bin is sent directly to you.

You can order only one bin per household, and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
