Contents insurance

Great Places offers a cheap contents insurance package designed especially for our tenants and leaseholders. 

As your landlord, we insure the building you live in, but not the contents of your home. This means things like televisions, carpets and DVD players are not insured by us.

So if you are burgled, or there is a fire or a flood at your home and you do not have contents insurance, you will be left with nothing.

Great Places works with one one of the country's biggest insurance brokers, which has many years of experience and offers an extremely good policy for our tenants.

Costs start from from less than £2 per week for the minimum level of cover, and there is no excess to pay in the event of a claim, meaning that you are not at risk of having to find more money in a crisis.

There are a range of easy payment options:

• Annual up-front payment (cheque)
• Direct debit
• Swipe card – monthly, fortnightly, or weekly
