MMHA manages more than 3000 homes mainly in Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Tameside and Trafford as well as nearly 1000 supported housing places. Formed in 1971, we have grown rapidly, including merging with Selhal Housing Association in 2003, and our homes are a mix of pre-war, post-war and new build properties.

Our work in neighbourhoods extends far beyond the boundaries of traditional housing management and we operate a number of services for the wider community including the award-winning South Manchester Community Wardens, Tonge UCAN Centre and the Bury Landlord Accreditation Scheme.

An ambitious programme of regeneration sees us continue our multi-award winning urban renewal activities, such as the wholesale redevelopment of the Northmoor area of Longsight and the brand new New Islington Millennium Community. We are actively involved in the Manchester/Salford and Oldham/Rochdale Housing Market Renewal Pathfinders.
