  • Great Places Residents' Fund

Great Places has launched two new funds which will give residents across the North West and South Yorkshire an opportunity to apply for money for projects that make a difference to their lives and the neighbourhoods they live in. 

The Great Places Residents’ Fund gives both individuals and community groups a chance to apply for funds that will help them achieve a personal goal or support a community initiative.  

The fund has three main aims: to support employment, promote health & well-being and build sustainable neighbourhoods.

There will be three chances throughout the year for residents to apply for funding. The deadline for the first tranche of funding is 30 June. Residents will then have the opportunity to apply again by 30 September and 30 December.

The Great Places Shared Spaces Fund will provide money to make physical improvements to the communal and exterior spaces within and around Great Places’ properties. Examples could include new security fencing to reduce ASB, the creation of additional parking or new raised planting beds as part of a communal garden.
