A total of 1,625 homes are owned and managed by Great Places in Sheffield, predominantly at two stock-transferred neighbourhoods, Wybourn and Richmond Park, both of which have undergone multi-million-pound improvement projects since they were handed over from Sheffield City Council in 2007. Work has included new-build apartments at Richmond Park and flats plus eco-bungalows at Yorkstone Close, Wybourn

Work has gone hand-in-hand with wide-ranging consultation among residents, community art, support for tenant and resident associations and activities for young people.

Great Places is a key development partner at the exciting regeneration of Park Hill, bringing the iconic ‘streets in the sky’ back into use as residential and business space. Another recent development, Larkin Grove at Parson Cross, has also been attention-grabbing with its innovative design by architects FAT.
