Great Places is a recognised leader in specialist supported housing and currently supports around 1,200 people in a range of supported accommodation and floating support settings, which also includes specialist accommodation for around 450 older people. The people we support include: homeless people, young people, young parents, older people, drug and alcohol users and people with mental health needs.
We also offer specialist accommodation for people with a wide range of needs, and where support is provided by one of our partner organisations. This includes around 400 homes for people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions, specialist accommodation for adults with continuing care needs, and supported housing for younger people and adults with sensory impairment and mental health needs.
More information about these properties can be found on the Learning Disabilities & Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Other Supported Housing pages of our website. We are always interested in exploring opportunities to work with new partner organisations, so please get in touch if you would like further information about what Great Places can offer.
Support provided by Great Places is outcome based, developed and delivered in a personalised way with the focus on developing independence and the ability to sustain this into the future. Support is delivered in partnership with other agencies, ensuring the full range of need is met in a holistic way.
Our priority for 2015 is to ensure that the fantastic work we do across our supported housing services can continue; to do this we are working closely with our staff and customers to ensure that our services are efficient and targeted at supporting service users to achieve the outcomes that matter to them.
