www.direct.gov.uk/oneplace – assesses how well your local services are working together to improve the problems affecting your community.
It judges how well the council, police, health organisations and housing bodies are improving issues that are important to residents.
This might include cutting crime, improving housing, helping people improve their health, or supporting people and businesses to weather the recession.
The website has been set up by the main local services watchdogs, including the Audit Commission, the Care Quality Commission, Ofsted and Her Majesty’s Inspectorates of Constabulary, Prisons and Probation.
